Where is Amazon.com located in the USA? Where are products shipped from?

I think that Amazon has several warehouses all around the US. I have ordered from them many times. Their shipping never takes as long a they say it will. Some of my packages came from California to North Carolina with the Free Shipping in about 3 days. They are very dependable, They are one of the few on-line retailers that I will buy from. I have also gotten other packages from them from Texas, Ohio, and other states.

Where they ship from depends on a number of things. Not all items, if any, purchased on Amazon.com are Amazon items. Amazon.com lists a tremendous amount of items from many different companies. Amazon.com allows you to shop for many different items, from many different companies at the same time and pay for all of the together. Many of these items are shipped from the company that they originate from.

It seems to me that Amazon.com is more of a listing service. They do have some great items. They also must have great buying power because I have come across a few items on Amazon.com that I can purchase cheaper than directly from the company.

If you read the item description carefully, many say that the item is shipped directly from the company where it is actually purchased from.

There are also used items sold on Amazon.com, such as books, that are shipped by the person that is listing them. I know that I sell many books on there myself.

You have to love Amazon.com!
