Certainly many of us may have those we admire, and who might inspire us,,,
As for me, I strive to be "someone I'd like to know"

Its me. I'm my own role model. Because I always try to be myelf rather than aping anybody. If I chose myself as my role model then I can change myself to suit the needs of life.
I've been given my life for a purpose. So instead of following someone else blindly follow the self and find out the purpose for which one was born. Then others will make you their idol and role model.

My role model is Christ first and then the Apostle Paul. Christ because I believe he is the only example for perfection, and Paul because he was a powerful man of God and was an amazing writer.

i don't have a role model because people are flawed. i see no point in modeling myself after imperfection. i'm already imperfect. i don't need any help going down the tubes.

My older sister. She was a single mother for many years, having left an abusive and adulterous relationship. She managed to raise 2 healthy, well adjusted daughters, both who completed college. And she, who never went to college, worked very hard and is now a company vice president. My respect for her is unending.

For better for worse, my late dad. He gave me great real examples that I didn't only learn theoritically. So close, so deep. Although he passed away 6 years ago, his lessons that he had been teaching me since I was a kid still tightly in my mind. I even wrote a blog for one lesson that he and mom had taught me, how I should be a wife, one day.
