I'm pretty close friends with both the girl and the guy in this couple but I can't believe the stuff she says to him sometimes in front of our friends and basically, everyone else. I don't think it's really any of my business, but still, it makes for some pretty awkward times and I've lost a lot of respect for both of them. Sometimes, I just want to hear him tell her where to go. Could it be that this just works for them? :-/

So what happens when they are out, and some dickweed smacks her on the a s s and says "Hey babe, nice rack"? Does he put his hands in his pockets, look at the ground, and kick rocks? Oh well, I'll never understand that.

No, it's not healthy to be in that type of relationship. It is pretty one-sided, but she must obviously being doing something right in order to keep him there, but you should bring it up to his attention in order to let him know what he may not see. Either that or let her know to ease up a bit because if she doesn't she may lose him.

I could never be with someone who put me down at all, especially in front of our friends. I don't get it. It sounds like he has low self esteem.

Man, you wouldn't think so, but I see it all the time. Must be some kinda dark, hidden facet of our personalities.

sounds like a bad relationship to be in and around to me

i wouldnt stick around them if they were my friends,

but thats just me, cuz i dont like drama at all, have no time for it anyways, and that can be considered verbal abuse, if it already isnt

not good...

good luck
