I went back to get my bachelors when I was 34 , had three part time jobs and a child. I got a much better job. Three years after I graduated I went back and got my Masters Degree and a very large raise. (4K per year). I now teach college and the first thing I tell my older students is I sat where you are sitting and I can tell you that its worth every moment and every sacrifice.

Dude listen to this, it took me 7 years to finish my BS degree from a 4 year college in which I dropped out from to graduate from a distance learning college its better than nothing. I don't care cuz I still have my higher ed degree. Now I want to go toward my Psy D degree and can luckily and fortunately skip over my masters. Just 4 more years for me before school is cfinished and I hope I get into the school as a candidate and successfuly finish!

as long as you get out and gain a job and work up the ladder, you will make more.
but from what I've seen, no real facts here, but I have noticed most who go higher and higher in education get addicted to the experience of learning. they don't focus on getting a job nor career but only to continue the education.

Keep on going man, you can do it and its worth it. My brother graduated when he was 35 and he has a great job, home, and life. I'm 29 and I'm still in college. Next year I'm starting medical school so theres another 5 years PLUS residency. Its worth it. The only limits in life are those we put on ourselves.

I went to night school and got a Bachelors of science degree and graduated 7 years ago, and no it hasent benefited me at all. think of it as a ticket you have to have to apply for salary jobs and most salary jobs starting pay is 40k for entry level 4 year degrees
