does it cost money to recieve text messages if you dont have unlimited text? or does it just cost money to send messages?

For T-Mobile prepaid, it used to be $0.10 to send and free to receive text messages, but they changed this recently. Now it is $0.10 to send and $0.05 to receive a text message.

I actually work for T-Mobile. It does cost to send AND recieve text messages. It costs $0.10 to send and recieve TEXT and it costs $0.25 to send or recieve PICTURE messages.

Yes it costs money both ways incoming and outgoing texts, Cingular cost 10 cents

Yeah, It cost 10 cents both ways, But with cingular it only cost 5cents, i have cingular its GREAT i hate T~mobile my neice has it, its 20 cents a minute on t~mobile and only 10cents for Cingular
