I know it's different per person. I just wanted to get an idea. I started mine (the sugar pills) just yesterday. Also, i know bleeding in between is common... ive had it for the past like 4 days or so. Lighter than even my lightest day of my period, but somewhat brownish (like its dried). How long did it take for this to pass, for those who experienced break-through bleeding?

When I started taking the pill, I experienced the spotting, on and off, for about 3 months (nothing heavy). As for starting your period, I always took my last pill on a thursday and I started my period on the Monday after, without fail.
My doctor said it can take up to 3 months for your body to adapt to the pill, so until then you may experience some side effects and light spotting. As long as the side effects are minimal, they should subside soon. If for whatever reason the side effects don't go away, you may just need to switch to a different pill.

Usually it takes around 3-4 days for your period to start. I start my sugar pills on Sundays and my period on Wednesday, for example. But you are right, and it's different for everyone.

If this is your first month on the pill, the off-cycle bleeding is normal. What you describe doesn't sound out of the common It'll probably be better or gone next month, and if it's not gone by the third month you may like to talk to your doctor about switching brands.

It usually took me 2-4 days. Started placebos on Sunday and it was always at least Tuesday before it started, but usually Wednesday or Thursday.
