Is there a way to find out if my email is being blocked going to another email address?

My last girlfriend doesn't return any emails. I was wondering how you can you tell if an email is reaching the intended address, if it is blocked, or if her email address isn't working? From this end the email is shown as sent. My email are going usually through hotmail but I have used both her hotmail and yahoo email addresses, no response. It may be by choice but just wanted to know their email address status and if my email is blocked?
