Well i kinda know why you think they are annoying. I know they are very very emotional it may even seem like they are drama queens. See what i find out they are sooooo scared of being hurt its unbearable. Me i am pisces and i look at the bright side of things and if i get hurt i just have to deal with it. It takes time to get to know a cancer trust me. I am dating one and sometimes i want to put my size 9's up his big a**, with his ultra sensitive nature, but he can't help it because he takes everything to heart. But he can be a sweetheart when he feels like he is being appreciated. But i think the biggest thing i have noticed about cancers that i have met in my life is that cancer's seem to hold on to grudges for way too long and i am talking years. They still talk about their past hurts even though it has passed. Trust me i know its annoying, but they can't help it. Its their coping mechanism. But you have to be patient when getting to know a cancer because they are based around emotions. But once you really get to know them they are really sweet people.

As was said in another comment before, there is much more to people than their sun sign. Everyone's planets are ruled under certain signs that could determine very unique qualities, despite the sign they were born under.
So it's not JUST Cancer natives you don't like. It most likely has to do with their planets. They could be ruled by different signs, giving tham traits that push your buttons. That's the best opinion I could give you. :)
Besides each sign is special in their own way. Cancer natives are ruled by the moon and its ever-changing face. Thus their emotions are more concentrated than others. Plus, most are very good family people, and usually make wonderful friends once you set a grounded relationship with them. They protect their loved ones 'til the end, and are intellectual individuals.
So they're not all bad, you've just met some with a very mixed-up combination of signs ruling their planets, most likely. lol Or their planets' signs just don't compliment yours, and that's not bad; it happens. Not everyone will get along. That's another very possible reason.

There is a very, very great deal more to a natal horoscope than just the sign that the sun is in.
You may have factors in your total horoscope that tend to make you annoyed with some characteristics of Cancer. Or the Cancer people you know that annoy you stand out because they annoy you, whereas there could be Cancer people that you don't even know are Cancer people because they don't annoy you.
In any case, mere sun signs are not a good way to evaluate people. Cancer people have no monopoly on "annoying and fake."

Im a picies i get along w/cancerians so the ones I know I think are lovely people execpt they are sometimes over dramatic. They are very emotional too, on one side this makes them very understanding but on the other its gets kinda annoying when they mope for ever because of one thing I guess feelings rule them more than others. But they are very caring and sensitive as far as I know. The first people I would go to for comfort. But arent tarus and cancer supposed to get along? Well i hope you can find a way to get along w/them. ^-^

I think you should probably do a little research on the sign of Cancer; it seems you're working off an opinion, and not the standard Cancerian qualities.
