I prefer silly putty or playdough. Both are quite tasty and don't cause problems at the other end. Crayons tend to color the water in the toilet and that gives me an eerie feeling.

You sound like an air head. As long as you use them for their intended purpose and dont insert them into any body parts I suppose that they are as safe as any other childsafe art item.

These days now they make them non-toxic, but I do not recommend for eating. Try skittles...Go ahead taste the rainbow.

crayons are amazing. they taste weired but are adictive i used to eat them during my pregnancy and i still eat some now n then when my kids are playing. i shouldnt really because it might incourage them but nevertheless crayons rock!!!!!

my dog used to eat them and she would poo out colors lol..I assume the same thing will happen to you so have fun with that
