I have looked on Ebay and they don't seem all that popular, but I was wondering if you would buy a jigsaw puzzle to hang as "art" at home or work? Why, or why not? Thanks xx

I would buy it, but others may think that it looks tacky. It would depend on the picture in the jigsaw puzzle.

A jigsaw puzzle can be considered art, its all in the way that it has been finished so that it is durable and none of the pieces fall out.

Personally, no. I'd prefer having the fun of putting the puzzle together myself.

And I'd rather have a painting that looks like a puzzle than a puzzle that's meant to look like art.

Probably not. I have to admit that we have one in our house but it has sentimental value in that it was done by a friend who has passed away. It did occur to me that maybe someone might be interested in this type of thing for an office theme....like maybe they were seriously into jigsaw puzzles.

somebody might buy it to dismantle and put back together.
I don't think a jigsaw puzzle is an art piece.

No.

The same reason I don't buy those light up Indian scenes of Tigers or the Taj Mahal they sell in the cheap shops either.

Or maybe a picture of Jack Daniels on a mirror

Or maybe a moving Elvis portrait.

Or maybe one of those "humerous" posters with kittens in a basket and a slogan at the bottom

Tacky.

you could get an cheap original painting or animation cell for the same price!! go for that option not for the investment potential just for the knowledge that you have a completley unique artifact on your wall.
