Now that McNabb is hurt (again) do you think the Eagles will try to go after an early-round QB in the next draft? I know McNabb has a contract and all, but Andy is wary of players who can't stay healthy (e.g. Duece Staley).

It is a little early to start looking for McNabb's replacement and I don't think they need to have a 1st round QB there to backup McNabb for when he gets hurt again next year. Obviously, Garcia was and is not the answer...what I would like to know is how did he beat out Feeley? I think Feeley is a very good backup, he is reliable, he can win, and he can fill in for more than a few weeks when McNabb is hurt. The Eagles don't need a QB controversy by having a number 1 guy behind McNabb and it does not make sense financially either.

I'd rather see them stick with the 2 backups they have. They can both win games for the eagles. Garcia played just about as well as any QB statistically can the other night. The defense needs work if anything. Wait till 2008 then draft a QB.

Mcnabb is a great cornerstone of the franshise, but he gets injured a lot i see them taking a late round QB, and grooming him to take the position in a few years

McNabb will continue to be an Eagle...he's a class guy and good leader, and he's the cornerstone of their organization. But if I were GM, I'd be calling Kordell Stewart for the last few games. His style of play fits their system well.....then I'd bench Garcia!
