If "success" means a relatively violence-free, democratic Iraq, it's probably not achievable. It's mildly amusing to me that the Republicans taunt the Democrats for not being able to fix the mess that the Bush administration created in Iraq. The question is, should the American people give power to those who know the situation is bad, or to those who got us into this situation, and who claim that the public only thinks it's bad because the liberal media's reporting is biased?

There really is no solution. One thing that's for sure is it's a mess. The white house makes the decisions in the war (not congress). Hopefully they look at this election and get it through their head that everything is not going as planned. Something different definitely needs to be done. What it is - who knows.

Look it's really easy see republicans like to talk about "personal responsibility" well it's now time for the Iraqi's to show some, we need to pull back to Kuwait and let them fight it our amongst themselves for which form of government they want, since they voted and have nice purple fingers it's time for them to fight for themselves and Govern themselves, see we just did that here by kicking republican behind in the mid terms and restoring the balance of power in America, bet you hate that huh?

They don't want success in Iraq. They want it to fail as miserably as Viet Nam because all they care about is making Republicans look bad.
Who cares if their citizens go back to living under a psychotic, evil dictator? Millions can suffer as long as the conservatives look bad.
