Even though it's not a popular answer right now. Yes, I do. We offer a level of freedom that other countries do not. Our poorest people live better then some wealthy people in other countries. When there is a world emergency, we are there. We support the world economy and fight the fights that other countries will not. Our military is the best in the world and our people are the most resilient. We raise our children to be independent and teach them that they can be or do anything they want in this life. We are united. When we are attacked we fight together. Our economy is amazing. Anyone that really wants to work can find a job. For those that cannot there are social services and other programs to help. Independence, entrepreneurs, new ideas and business are encouraged. You can start from nothing and become the wealthiest person in the world.
We are not always right. We do make mistakes. We are loud, arrogant, imperialistic and bullish. Our president is not the smartest. We equate money with happiness. And we think that we are ALWAYS right. The US isn't perfect, but I challenge any American to find a country that they would rather live in.
Then when they do, by all means pack up and go.

I love the principles America was built on and the fact that Americans, wrong or not, take no **** from anyone. I'm very patriotic, but I wouldn't consider our country the best. I don't really think any country is. There is no other country I'd rather live than in America. I do love visiting other countries with rich history and unique traditions. If America truly lived by the traditions and teachings it was founded upon, it most assuredly would be best country in the world.

I know it's the best country in the world!! Geographically, we have beautiful mountains, beaches, The Grand Canyon. We have people of every race, religion, and culture that there is. We have our Constitution and Declaration of Independence that guarantee we are the best. We are free. We are not socialist, fascist, or communist. We have the greatest military. We have problems, but who doesn't. We have so much to be thankful for. Would never want to live anywhere else!!!

As far as the general welfare of the citizens....I say no doubt. I think anything can be made better. It provides its citizens with the most liberties of any nation on earth. Thats not to say that the U.K. does not come very close. I consider the U.K. and USA to be sister nations in every way possible.
