I beleive you'll find it's an example of various art works using Mandelbrot sets and not a real nebula.

Can't find any references to the "Mandelbrot Nebula" except in some literotica.

They used Fractal calculations to generate a "nebula". See the references. Check here:

I do not believe there is such a nebula.

But, Benoît Mandelbrot developed the mandelbrot set which is a fractal that can sometimes *look* nebula-like (IMO).
