I had my 1st after just a 20 minute active labor, 10 minutes before I was scheduled to be induced. It was super fast. My doctor wasn't there, so they just had to find the closest doctor to catch him. I only pushed 3 times. I had no drugs at all. There wasn't time to even think about it!

My 2nd was born via emergency c-section after just an hour of labor. I had a spinal, so I didn't feel a thing. Very different bifth experiences!

It was a Sunday morning and I went to the bathroom and noticed some blood, more pink than red and told my mother and she wanted me to go to the hospital right away and I was like, "I'm Good!" I went about my day, showering, got dressed and had breakfast and watched the Three Stooges, its was all normal, when I went to the kitchen to wash my dishes a huge contraction brought me to my knees and I was still like, I'm good, my mom called for a cab and I was like no I'm fine no worries

Turns out that once I was checked in triage, I was 5-6 centimeters dilated and at 0 stage, lol, by the time I made it to the labor room and set up with I.V. and blood work I was checked again and I was 8-9 cms and they broke my water to speed it up, my son was delivered at 230pm, no time for drugs, nothing, it all took about 7 hours and I was in no serious pain until they broke my water, best day of my life!

First i would like to say Congrats and good luck. There is nothing like it in the world. Enjoy being pregnant, it goes by fast.
I had a long but easy labor. It started at home with contractions that were not consistent. I kept going to the hospital only to get sent home. It was miserable and I had sleepless nights. When I Finlay was admitted it was nice. I got my epidural and took a nap. (by the way I recommend the epidural for anyone, it did not hurt at all and it was nice not to feel pain" Once the doc told me to start pushing I was sweating so bad. My mom had to hold my leg up for me and put it to my chin. Shes a mom so she was holding the leg so delicately LOL Finlay I yelled at her and told her not to hold it like a porcelain doll! I loved pushing LOL I was saying things like "nice" "oh yeah" haha my boyfriend said I acted like I was watching "the game" on T.V. Too funny. I would really do it all over again anytime. It was a wonderful experience! Again, good luck to you!

I was induced with my only child. The Dr induced me at 4 AM and I had no contractions or anything. Then at 11 AM he broke my water and I was in active labor (i had contractions one after the other ...one ending another one began.) At 11AM when the DR first checked me I was only 2 cm. By 12:55 I was fully dialated. I pushed twice and my beautiful angel was born at 12:57 AM. I held on the rails so tight on the bed I was in I broke them!! LOL The pain was horrible since I did it natural but in the end it's all worth it. Good luck!

With my first it started like this...It was around 8:00 pm and I was just sitting around watching tv...I got up to go to the bathroom and afterwards I went to sat back down and my water broke..so I called my hubby who was at work and he was like ok- I'm closing a deal I'll be home in a little while..so, I was freakin out...well he finally got home..I was standing by the door ready to go and he said- wait- let me make a sandwich first cause we're probly gonna be there forever...so, I waited in the car...well on the way to the hospital he stopped at the gas station to get a coke and some chips....we FINALLY get to the hospital and they check me out, confirm that my water broke and admit me I had her 3 hours later with no medication and maybe 30 minutes of pushing...I'm 35 weeks with my second and I'm thinkin he probly won't stop for chips this time!

I have 4 kids and the girls were much easier than the boys. The girls came first and the boys last. So maybe I was getting pay back for them coming second.

My first was 45 minutes and she was here and ready to go.

The worst was the 3rd and he took 17 hours of hard labor to get here and he is still very hard headed.

GOOD LUCK

Long but easy. LOL I was in labor for 52.5 hours from start to finish. Make sure with each contraction you relax your pelvic muscles otherwise it could be really long like my first!! My second was way easier!!

Funny story though. One of the guys I work with put a message out on our work bulletin board saying their little boy was born at 4:20pm and the paramedics arrived at 4:35! He had to deliver the baby himself and he's kind of squeemish!! He did a really good job and they have a very healthy baby boy!!

Good luck!

It wasnt to funny actually.I was only 17. The contractions hurt so bad its unreal. I cant even desribe the pain. But of course I did do the breathing thing like they told me to. After awhile I had an epidural. That really helped. It makes you not able to feel the contractions anymore. But then came time to push and that didnt hurt so bad with the epidural but it seemed like no matter how hard i pushed he wouldnt come out, but after the head comes out the rest kinda slips out like a wet fish (its kinda gross sounding). Then it is the best feeling in the whole world seriously to see your new baby. They look a little crazy but they are so precious. Then with my second one I was too far into my delivery to get an epidural by the time I got to the hospital but this time i did breath and that helped my contractions-so do the breathing. But the bad part was pushing him out-with no pain medication i felt like my body was going to rip apart. its that bad! I kept yelling just please cut me open-please. it hurt so bad. but then once again he finally came out and everything was all better. Good luck...nothing is better-despite the pain. its worth it.

well when I went into labor. I was 9 days over due and my hubby and I were heading home from the inlaws and we stopped at a convenience store to get a pop. I was filling my cup and my water
broke all over the floor. well I waddled up to the counter and asked for a mop cuz to cleanup the mess. The poor young kid on duty went pale and gave me my pop free and told me to go to the hospital quickly cuz he knew nothing about delivering babies.
So I went to the car and told hubby I needed to go home and change my pants as they were wet. He asked why and I said my water broke. He was so excited he almost spilled the pop I had handed him. Got home called the doc after I changed and I got the oncall one that I hated (murphys law) he told me that I probably just wet my pants and to wait for labor to start. I waited and waited and waited. Labor finaly started 4 hours later and
2 hours for it get regular and I went up to the hospital and I was in labor for about 32 hours before I was offered a c-section.
Oh yeah I waited so long that different doc delivered my baby LOL. I had a baby girl 11 yrs ago . Now as for what it feels like
it hurts but its worth it and for me lamaze really worked.
I did not have drugs til about 3]4 of the way thru it.
by then my body was so tired and I was done.
Also when you go into to labor you know. It is different feeling from false labor. Or braxton hicks (spell?).
Good luck and relax .

A nightmare!
LOL.
All pregnancys and labors and deliverys are different and because labor is assosciated with pain my dear, we all have horror stories.

I can tell you I have heard a lot of first time moms talk about pushing, with the first baby it is your first time, my advise is listen to what the doctor tells you, if you pee or poo dont worry this means you are pushing right! And does it matter, heck yes,
because delivery is the most painful part.
