I just read in the paper that Alabama fired Mike Shula and are looking for a new head coach.

Here is a list of people they are considering, which one do you feel is the best choice.

Miami Dauphins - Nick Saban
South Carolina's - Steve Spurrier
Virginia Tech's - Frank Beamer
Louisville's - Bobby Petrino
West Virginia's - Rich Rodriguez
Georgia Tech's - Chan Gailey

University of Tennessee offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe would be a good choice. He's a Birmingham native and has SEC head coaching experience.

I would like to see Nick Saban. I think he would be the most complete coach, but like Spurrier, I doubt we will see him in Tuscaloosa. The remaining four on the list are a little more likely and from those four I would like to see either Petrino or Rodriguez. I think they would best fit the program.

the best coach would be VT's Defensive cordinator, there is no way VT's head coach will ever leave VT, he has it made there, and has built that program and just signed a new deal this year, also nick saban is not leaving miami, they are just gettin good out of this list though the only actual canadites would be spurrier, or gailey the others are set and not leaving, but still VTs defensive cordinator would be a perfet fit, or larry coaker
