Iam now 8 months pregnant from such a thing.
Of course you can. Women dont cycle like the tide, and you can ovulate of fluke days because because your body felt like it. Its not common, but it does certainly happen. As my son proves.

No, it is impossible. There are hormonal issues involved that release the egg from the ovaries before your period. That is ovulation -- you know, when the mucus comes before your period? That is when you are most fertile, because the egg is being implanted into your uterus lining to prepare for fertilization, and the generation of the placenta for the potential fetus. If the egg does not become fertilized within the week (5-8 days, depending on your personal physiology), the lining of the uterus breaks down and that's your period. That's where the bleeding comes from: the blood vessels have ruptured as part of the process and everything is getting "flushed out". Then the body goes into a stage of rest in order to prepare itself for the next cycle.

Yes. Depending on how long her period last and how many days her cycle is. Say your cycle is 21 days long. Your period last about 6-10 days. You would ovulate around the 10 or the 11th. Sperm can live up to 5 days. So if she had sex while still bleeding around her 7th or 8th day the sperm would be there to fertilize the egg. I know it sounds confusing sorry.

Yes of course she can! As Amos already stated, ovulation doesn't just happen at one set time every month. Many things can alter a woman's ovulation - stress, sickness, etc. Always use protection if you don't want to become pregnant!

no - the egg to be fertilized is been shed/used (hence the period). You will have to wait again for ovulation for another egg (next month).
