NO!!!!
Look into Bit Torrent sharing. This is the best way to share content. It works by taking a large file (album instead of just a song), breaking it up into smaller pieces. These pieces are shared with multiple users at the same time. For example; a album is split into 4 pieces numbered 1 through 4. I would be downloading 3 from you, 2 from someone else and 1 from someone else still. I might have already downloaded piece 4 and am sharing it with the other 3 people. This keeps the speed very fast and the chance of virus or corrupt content low because that means someone is sharing a virus that they have been infected with or media that doesn't work. It is a lot simpler than it sounds.
Check out a site called TorrentSpy.

I use limewire and have been downloading movies with it so in a way its safe but I experience sometimes slowness in computers and it freezing but I think it goes away with time. I had better success with limewire than with any other p2p. Also, you can up grade to PRO FREE OF CHARGE with the original basic version

Go for it, Just make sure you have Anti-virus, and you are only downloading music, not exe files. I haven't had a problem yet with it. Find a program called switch for converting them, although I didn't thin kyou had to, doens't itunes do that...?

you should have anti-virus software installed anyway. if not, do it today.

your downloaded limewire songs will automatically appear in your iTunes library.
