Malmsteen never invented scalloping guitardan. The sitar has been scalloped longer than rock music has even existed.Even some of Malmsteens guitar influences used a scalloped fingerboard, like Richie Blackmore.
Yngwie has done way more to change rock guitar than Satriani will ever do.Satriani's greatest contribution to guitar was teaching Steve Vai,then letting vai completely eclipse him as a player and professional.Though I still have to agree with those that say there's no sense in comparing, they're different, not better.
I definitely enjoy listening to Yngwie more, though I enjoy most of my other influences more.Allen Holdsworth,SRV,Jimmy Page and Steve Vai are some of my favorite players.
Could you try posting a different question now? You've posted this one how many times now?
Neither one is better as one user stated already,at that point it's just preference.

Satriani is a better all around player than Malmsteen. Malmsteen can play faster than Satriani. Don't get me wrong though Malmsteen is awsome. He even invented the method of scalloping the fretboard on the guitar in order to cause less friction when your finger goes down on the string so you can actually play faster leads/riffs. As for what JACOJBASS said about both of them he can kiss my AXE.....I'd like to hear him play better. He's probably a three chord wonder like the Ramones....LOL

Well , thats like trying to compare two fine wines. It's just personal preference really , and if you look closer you find two different styles of playing. I like both of them though.

you should not compare them.........each of them have reached a very high level in mastering the instrument..........so comparison is not needed
