How can contaminating RNA be removed from a DNA extract?

This is a DNA extraction using potato leaves,using CTAB.

Use RNase that is certified free of any DNase activity. Make sure you use the proper stuff and as a rule for most DNase or RNase use a fresh bottle and keep it to yourself. That way you avoid some of the contamination issues.
