Do you know why they give you homework ? Because the teachers are either too lazy or too inefficient to teach you in school, so they make you teach yourself at home while they collect a paycheck for teaching you. If 10% of your work is homework, then we should take 10% of their paycheck and give it to you for having to teach yourself, if 20% of your learning is homework, then you get 20% of their teaching money. Simple. It wouldn't be long before teachers were back to teaching you in the classroom and not trying to get you to do their job while they go to professional development events or sit on their asses in the teachers lounge, smoking cigarettes and swilling coffee. I say to all teachers, get back to doing the job that we pay you for, teaching the kids IN SCHOOL !

I didn't do it because I time-traveled to the past to do research for my homework, and I ran into my past self by accident and caused a rip in the space-time continuum, so I had ot time travel a few years before THAT to reverse the rip in time, and I was late getting back to the present.

There is none. Do the work or fail. It's one of the first responsilbity choices that will affect the rest of your life. Education will be the key to you living a happy successful life. Trying to find excuses to evade your small responsiblity will only bring about larger problems in the future.

someone close to u died, but don't use that unless it really happened , because they will call to find out ,just tell them the truth, u didn't feel like doing it, u wanted to play instead or u r just too lazy and don't care
