I recently met a young woman with scars over her face and arms --horrible scars. she had just given birth and her boyfriend was a really cool, attractive man who took really good care of her.
i knew another woman who had a tiny scar next to her mouth and wore tons of makeup because of it. People used to beg her to wear less makeup because she was so pretty. She never heard them.
I once dated a man who had a prosthetic leg that I didn't notice until we got intimate. He was very nonchalant as he removed the leg and got into bed. It suprised the hell out of me, but did not change my feelings about the man.
I guess what I am saying is that I believe that your own perception about those scars is what will make or break you.

It depends on the individual, and to an extent, the scars themselves. I find it hard to look at burn scars because I just see how much pain the poor bastard would've gone through to have them. Somehow, the aftermath of cuts doesn't seem as bad. Me, I've got a whole bunch of acne scars. It doesn't bother me too much that I have them, but it sh!ts me that there isn't a better story to go with them than 'yeah, I had really bad zits'. That said, I've done alright with the fellas. My advice - give your date some foreknowledge of the scars she can't see, then forget about them and just enjoy your time with her.

I wonder the same thing. I am also scarred on the left side of my body. My husband says I am beautiful and unique, but my confidence is so low that I just hate myself. If I was to see a man with the same thing it wouldn't turn me off. Email me sometime and we can talk about our experiences with scars. I'm curious to see how others feel. jmk21payme@yahoo.com

Some women are turned on by "battle scars". Scars are not very attractive in my opinion but if I got to know the guy and I really liked him I wouldn't care. If you are good on the inside it shows on the outside!

Depends from woman to woman, I guess. While some woman are plain narrow minded and run away when reallity does not meet their vsion of perfection, there are women who stay put. Just give her a bit of time to get used to it, that is all. And be honest about it, when it comes to bed time play time. Tell her you gor scars, and talk about it before you take your shirt off so she is prepared.

Have you considered plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is specifically for that purpose. If you feel uncomfortable with your scars you can always do something about it.
If you feel comfortable and you are just having bad luck in the women's dept they you probably interact with women that care more about looks than a guy's personality.

Scars don't bother me at all, and on the right peson, may even look hot.
One of my ex-boyfriends had burn scars all over his chest and I didn't mind. I never even thought about them once I'd seen them and he said where he got them.

You are too funny. Most women don't care one way or another about scars. You are probably more self conscious than anyone else it.
