I've played guild wars but it didn't seem all that great to me, is WoW better?

Ok here is a run down. Wow is a mmorpg. you create a character build it up in skill depending on what class and race you choose. you can pvp battle which is player -vs- player battle. you can group and run instances for quest loots. or you can craft. it is a very cool game but is also very time consuming so if you have a dull social life then go for it. if you have an active on then leave the rpg games alone. you have to pay a subscription for this game. it is fun. there will also be a release of starwars galaxies emu which is a free version of the existing starwars game only it is a reverted game back to the begining concept. a must for every true mmorpg gamer. if you would like to chat some time about the games available let me know i do this as a hobbie but i also only get 3-4 hrs of sleep a night, canopeyboy@yahoo.com is my messenger.

It is a good role playing game.
A lot of the people I know though gave up WoW and came to Final Fantasy Xl.
I have enjoyed the game for almost 3 years now. It can be very time consuming at times but cheap entertainment. ^.^

But honestly having played both wow and guild wars id recommend gW as. its a lesuire type game you can play when u want and get up and leave when u want and its free! ;op graphics are better too not all cartoony like wow

I haven't ever played Guild Wars. WOW is awesome though. Better join soon to lvl to 60 before the expansion!!! lol

i play finalfantasy11 its better than WoW i have met tons of ppl that started out playing WoW and ended up getting ffxi they said WoW got super boring after a week

It's WORLD of Warcraft, not War of Warcraft, and it is really great! I strongly recommend you get it.

Do you mean World of Warcraft? I don't play, but both of my sons have/do. They like it a lot. I see lots of others playing it, as well.

Please, don't join the ******* crowd. No, WoW isn't good, in any respect. If you're going to play computer games, play real ones.
