You have to be pretty slick to be able to find a childs myspace page. My mother has this same problem with my little sister. She set her location to someplace far away, used a different name, etc to prevent my mother from being able to search for her easily. If you know any of your childs friends, you may be able to find one of them and search thier myspace friends. That was how I found my sisters page. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get into thier page unless you can coerce them to give you the password. Myspace doesn't let parents into thier childrens pages. Hope this is helpful.

Without a password to get in it might prove difficult. However you can go to "downloads.com" & download "Actual spy" or any other spy program with a Key logger. A keylogger will track everything that is done on the computer & produce a report. It will give you the sights visited, reveal passwords, pictures viewed etc. Every keystroke on the keyboard is logged. It's a bit sneaky but if you have concerns about the content she is viewing or personal information she is passing out this may be the your alternative. However if she finds out what you are doing serious trust & privacy issues are going to cause you grief for sure. You may find things that you don't want to know. Invasion of privacy is never nice & could seriously ruin your relationship with your child.
Sometimes it is better to be vigilant rather than sneaky.....Your conscience will be your guide. Good luck.....

I would suggest that you sit down and talk to them about the net and MySpace and see what they say. If they do not wish to speak to you about it, don't go to there friends as they will be conceived by your kids as being Narcs and no longer trust them.

Make sure that you setup a proxy or make a computer into a gateway on your home network and make sure that it is the only way to get out of the house and setup monitoring software on there to see where they go and what they do. Then you can confront them about there habbits and such and see what they do.

There is also software out there that does this for you as well but can be easily defeated.

Is it possible to get see one of their friend when they are on myspace? If so get their member name and search through their friend list and I bet you will find your child. Also try a search on your own by the your general area with information around your childs age. It is actually easy once you search around and get used to it.

Ask them.

Whatever you do, NEVER spy on them - they will never forgive you, and will spend the rest of their lives paranoid about the enemy that looms over their shoulder.

If they've got one and you don't like it - take their internet access away. You don't have to let them online after all.

In short, do some parenting.

Stop spying on your kids! They have their own life and privacy! Leave them alone!
