It's not that big of a deal. Just explain to them both how childish they are both being and everything will be fine.

That's too bad that something as minute as flipping someone off would cause you to miss Thanksgiving with your family. It is a disrespectful gesture, but perhaps there's something more to this or something depper going on here. I would discuss this with your sister and husband separately, let them know you are concerned, and that your'e all family and will have to work on a solution in out of respect for the rest of your family. Be unbiased and be a good listener. Maybe the truth will come out, maybe an apology is needed to move on. Good Luck.

You missed thanksgiving because your sister 'flipped off your husband'? There must be WAY more to this story that you are not telling because unless you and your sister are 7 & 9 this seems a little extreme and childish.

i think your husband is a liar, cause noone flips someone off for a compliment.and why did he act like a baby even if she did. that is your family and you shouldn't have had to miss thanksgiving because your husband is a baby.maybe your husband secretly came on to your sister i mean they work together and come on a compliment you don't get flipped off for a compliment

Even if your sister flipped your husband off, so what? It sounds like it is no big deal. Nobody gets along all of the time. Let it go.

You should not let this get to you. Family is too important to fight.
No matter what happen you should turn the other cheek and leave it alone and forgive everyone no matter who is at fault. You might never know and are you willing to let this eat you alive or to forget it and have a great holiday season. GOOD LUCK

Your sister!

You should know the type of sister you have and if your husband does not lie then..it has to be your sister.

Goodluck with that!

I would definatley believe your sister especially if she swore on the life of a child. Men lie all the time to get themselves out of situations like this.

Who cares. They're both idiots. They have hard feelings for each other because he did her in the balloon knot and she liked it. Now they know they can never do it again because of you so they're putting on an act to make you think they hate each other.
