Okay , I don't know if anyone remembers but a few months ago I was having troubles with my two Best friends well, we recently got back together. But there's a problem , My friend L , who used to weigh over 200lbs has lost over 60lbs and is being very conceited about it. First of all, My other friends think she might be sick or whateva, only because she lost it so fast, and didn't exercise. She picks with my other overweight friends including her 20 year old sister who used to be thin but gained about 3 years ago. She says things like:
I hope I Don't Become Conceited
So and So Looks like They gettin Bigger
She Gets Mad if You don't give her a good Compliment
Always in The Mirror
Came to my other friends house at 11:30 at night just 4 sunglasses
Told Me that She was only going to our other Best Friend's dad's funeral just so folks could see how she looks
Cuts people off when they try to talk about how they are
Puts People down
Is Very Sassy with People

What Should I do ?

It was very cruel when she told Me that she was only going to our other friends' father's funeral just so people could compliment her.

To be quite honest she starting showing signs of being conceited back in 2004 when we started our Senior Year and after we graduated in 05 when she was still heavy . But B4 Senior Year she wasn't like that .

Obviously she wasn't like that before she lost weight so she is just trying to show off her new body even though I think she has gotten a little bit nasty (cutting people off when they try to talk) but give her time and she might come back to earth.

Otherwise if you're that fed up then just cut her short when she is talking about herself, say something like, "is that all you can talk about, yourself?". "I have a life too you know, ever since you lost weight all we hear about is yourself or you've gotten a little bit nasty after losing weight". Say it with a friendly face and as you go along you let her know that you're serious. If she's a good friend she will listen if she's selfish she'll get pissed and never talk to you again - but at least you'll know she's not worth being a friend.

Give her some time to adjust to her newly acquired great bod! She may have been feeling down for a long time - and now just feels so damn good she can't keep it all in and wants to shout it out to the world. The novelty will wear off - and she will probably go back to being the lovable friend she was before she lost weight. Be patient!

You should just tell her about herself and don't be afraid of what the answer that she will give you back. If you have a friend then you should tell them about themselves every once in a while so maybe that they will change the way they doing things

sounds like she is proud of her accomplishment, she just lost a ton of weight, be happy for her and let her gloat about it, After a while she will mellow out on her own, if she truly is as bad as you say she is people will just stop hanging out with her, you dont need to tell her anything.
