Just read Speedball's answer. I've had the soap in the mouth treatment for lying/swearing/rudeness. That's particularly nasty. The horrible taste stays in your mouth for ages after, despite cleaning your teeth.

Sure they did....it was usually deserved like when i was acting up in a grocery store. My parents never gave into the whining and crying when i didnt get something i wanted and i am very happy for that discipline....no one can be truly happy getting everything they want now can they?
