English, as an international language, is utterly popular in HK nowadays. What is more, teenagers acquire third languages like French or German starting to escalate into a current trend. They believe that language skills will open up a fine vista for them when seeking jobs.
Notwithstanding, data shows, the number of people studying Chinese in the US is drastically on the rise, due to the fact that China’s entry in WTO and rapid economic growth will bring them a huge lot of business opportunities. So being a Chinese, while we are zeroing in on our English skill, we should also perform our very best in Chinese.

I think I would show the statistics for "people studying Chinese in the US is drastically on the rise" and information on the WTO. I would spell out US (United States), WTO (World Trade Organization), and HK (Hong Kong). Why do you think the trend toward learning Chinese, French, or German is on the rise among young Chinese Americans? There are a few points you could elaborate upon with statistics or background information.

The State of Utah has been teaching these languages at the College and University level for over 20-years. They saw this coming. Over the years, the State of Utah has not only had a balanced budget, but tons of Reserve. Why, because of their insight and the fact that some of the Largest World Corporations, from that part of the world have settled their Corporate Headquarters in Utah. I have been telling people for 20-years about this, I encourage students to learn the Chinese and Japanese languages. But did you know, the most spoken language in the entire World is Spanish! better learn that one also. Interesting question, full of lots of information, I really enjoyed responding and I hope YOU learnt something new from ME.

In some of those sentences, I can only guess what you were trying to say. If you send me or post what you're trying to say in Chinese, I'll correct it for you. Being a true bilingual, I have helped numerous friends with this kind of thing. I even helped a coworker to get his PhD by going through and correcting his dissertation!
