The Due Date is 9 months from conception. A child concieved on April 10th would be born around January 10th give or take a few days on either side of the number. You can't know the exact date but get a rough idea - doctors will give you numbers but in reality the child comes when its ready. I concieved on the Ides of March (March 15th) and my daughter was born December 14th a few hours shy of December 15th (that's about as close to 9 months from the date of conception that one can get w/o hitting the day exactly) - the doctors said the due date was Dec. 6th.- Remember that doctors and nurses base their calculations on the date of your last period and their concern is that there may be health issues if the child is in the womb too long. They need to know when to induce labor if they have to.
Good Luck!

To calculate a due date, you take the 1st day of your last menstrual cycle, go back 3 months and add 1 week. Assuming you had your period exactly 2 weeks prior to conception (March 27th), that would make your due date January 3rd (March 27th - go back three months to Dec. 27th, then add 1 week gets you to Jan. 3). Due dates are just a rough guess, so it would be safe to expect your baby anywhere from the end of December to the first week or two of January.
