I have at certain stages in my life suffered fom similar symptoms although not for as long a period of time. usually the glands under my arm pits are swollen and sore at the same time, unfortunately i dont know why i just put it down to being female and added it to the grotty list of ailments we have to go through. But i looked up a couple of things and pasted the links below. Hope it helps xxx

it sounds like your pregnant. i know you say you'v had a period but some people still have their period during pregnancy and the fact that you have been trying makes me think that is the most obvious answer. however, if it isnt that then it may be that they are just growing. i dont know if uv put on any weight or anything? i experienced a similar thing a while ago and it turned out to be that. theres a few things it could be really so i would just go and see your GP and put ur mind to rest. i think your hormone levels can also affect your breasts as well.

There are two times of the month when it is common to experince pain in your breast. During your period and during ovulation. I have tenderness with each and it last about 2 weeks combined. Try tracking it for one more month to see when you are experincing the pain. Tenderness can also be caused by hormones like birth control pills, etc.
Either way you should make an appt to see a doctor better safe then sorry.

It could still mean that you are pregnant. Some people continue to have periods throughought pregnancy. If could also be a result of any recent lifestyle changes such a diet, or maybe due to you coming off the pill?

i usually have enlarged sore breasts 2 weeks before period, but they become normal size and not sore the same day period starts. so i don't know, but to me it sounds not good - smth is wrong with your hormones. i suggest u check doctor
ps. and i was thinking maybe it could have been birth control pills. but u said u re trying to have a baby - so i presume no birth control pills? but maybe u re taking soe other pills - for birth? they can affect breasts like that

just because you have had your period it doesn't mean that your not pregnant. It is possible to continue to have break through bleeding throughout your entire pregnancy. i had extremely sore breasts for two months with a period and then found out i was pregnant with my son, now aged 7. i suggest you go and see your doctor and get him or her to do a test.

Donna make an appiontment with your GP to put your mind at rest. I think it to do with put on weight and the breasts grows.
I could be wrong love but do go to your GP.
Or what about your partner, is he sucking them too hard, im not being rude but it could be another reasons why it's sore.

If you are sure you are not pregnant then try not drinking anything with caffeine in it. I had a problem a few years ago. When I went to the doctors she told me it could be due to too much caffeine intake. See if that works.

Could be they are hitting an unexpected/ unanticipated growth spurt? Not sure of your age, but this can sometimes happen later than usual. Also, have you had a pregnancy test? You can be pregnant and still have a period.
If all else fails, go see your doctor.

I actually had mastitis for two months before getting diagnosed--because no one believed a woman who had never been pregnant or had never breastfed could get it. If you also have a slight fever, or your breasts feel warm, get them checked out.
