It it happened at the same time it would cause nothing as the Earth is a sphere every force would be directed to the center of the earth, assuming we all have similar weights and each person is equally divied into a single meter square. But if we jumped simultaneously it would create an inbalnce as even a flutter of a butterfly could create chaos.

Nothing whatsoever, apart from a few twisted ankles etc. The mass of the planetary population is negligible compared to mass of the planet.
Though I do remember reading a children's book many years ago where everyone had to do this. There'd been so much mining that the earth's crust was about to cave in. Everyone in the book had to jump at the same time so that the moles could shore up all the tunnels at the same time! That question's brought back memories!

To be honest, not much, the seismic capability of 6 or so billion persons jumping up at the same time would have no real effect on the earth. Experiments have taken place where a number of school children have done this (in numbers of around 1,000) and to no effect.

Nothing. Mankind is spread pretty evenly across the ground so they would all cancel out the people on the opposite side of the world.
Might be amusing if everyone stood in Antartica, apart from a couple getting blue toes. Then convince them to jump...

If all the people in China were to jump up and down at the same time, it would, apparently, cause a tidal wave that would sweep across the whole of the west side of the USA !!!

Nothing would happen, much the same as if every flea on a cat jumps at the same time. We need to realise how insignificant we are in relation to our planets size.

The equation balances... so they effects of the jumping are negated as soon as everyone lands. The net effect of the jumping/landing is 0.
