Once it's completely dry (it no longer feels cold to the touch) you can seal it with a polymer or non-yellowing urathane varnish to protect the surface from dirt and moisture. The more coats you use, the better it will be protected. Brush-on or spray would work equally well.

dry: put it in a sealed container... far away from moisture... and keep it in a dry place (same difference I suppose... but it works)

alrady molded: depends what you are doing w/ it... if you are putting a painted finish on it, make sure to seal it... that should do it.
