I don't think that there would be much changes in Iraq. Even the Democrat candidates have powerful ties with big compnies, including military, pharmaceutical and petroleum companies. Those companies are war profiteers.
I heard the US government even prohibited negotiating for drug prices for Medicare in order to give windfall profits to big drug companies. They can have welfare for huge, rich farming operations and won't even guarantee training for people who need jobs.
They will just send desperate young people into more senseless wars. All politicians are the same. The Democrats won't change anything concening what goes on in the Middle East.
Israeli Palestinian conflicts, Iraq war, Lebanon...its a whole new wars just waiting to happen. Its all a cycle.

The "new" course in Iraq...is the same exact course the USA has been on for 4 years.

He is ganna say alot between now and the next elections. But you will see no action. Bush realizes he has really screwed things up and don`t really know what to do about it so he is squirming now trying to save face somehow. Nothing will be done about anything really important just talk. He is ganna leave his mess to the democrates to TRY to clean up and when they are trying to the republicans will be the FIRST to criticize and complain.
