I've wanted the same thing all along.
I'm 34 now. When I was 25 I was at a point in my life that I call standing still....it was the only way for me to be safe. At 25 I was less 'me' than I ever have been. But I was safe, things could have went really bad for me at that point but by doing what I did I know I saved myself alot of heartache and opened up the pathway that I am on now.

I have always, ever since I can remember, wanted to love in the woods and basically be self sufficient, gardening/hunting/fishing and stuff.
I was always told that this is a stupid idea.
But it is what my soul wants/needs.
Stupid me got knocked up at 15 as a way to get out of my parents house(brilliant idea..NOT)
That kids is now 18...I did my job.....(i had another one too she's 14 now)
but this summer I moved across the country to a more remote location. Not my perfect home yet...but getting there.
It's a process......The one most important thing I learned is not to screw around with your dreams in order to please other people.

At 25 I "thought" I knew who I was as a person and what I wanted in life but it wasn't until I was well into my 30s that I realized how wrong I was. It was almost as if I was "pretending" to be this person and as I aged the pretense was harder to keep up. I'm sure there are people who do know the answers to those questions at 25, but I wasn't one of those folks.

for me, as I get older I got to know what I really need/want in life...a stable job, a good salary so I can save for retirement, stay healthy and keep working real hard to cope with my work. I just wish I thought that way when I was 25, when I was 25 I didn't think of much of the future and didn't plan much.

I'm 43 and to be honest I'm still trying to figure out who I am or what I want out of life. I think the answer to this all depends on the circumstances you where in at that age. I was dealing with alot of emotional issues stemming from family stuff and it made me feel disconnected from who I was as a person. I lost myself many years ago and slowly I am finding out who I am and what I want. Very good question.

Of course! But then I wanted something different at 30 and then again at 40. You don't have to do anything forever. That's the fun of life dear. Enjoy!

I've known what career I want since I was 16, but aside from that it keeps changing all the time. I think as you get older (I'm aware I'm o nly 21) you realise that it's best just to go with the flow.

I thought I did. It's funny what another couple of decades will do to you. In retrospect, I didn't have a clue about any of it.
