Yeah, birth control can have different side effects. My breasts would ache right before starting until I started birth control. The ache may go away once your body adjusts to the hormones you're taking.

Ohhhh yes!! When I got on the last batch of bc pills the doc put me on Ortho lo and that really made me go mad with how much my breasts were affected. The amount of hormones varies from each week so my breasts were going up and down, painful and less painful. I went back and had him change me to a pill with a constant hormone level.

Yes, minor breast discomfort is a normal side effect of hormone ingestion. I recommend taking an aspirin and applying heat for a day or two. You can talk to your doctor, but he will recommend the same thing.

As with any birth control, your breasts will also be affected. Breasts are a core part of your reproductive system, and the hormones in the pill/shot will usually make them tender.

yes! my boobies were hurting a lot too, when i first started. it actually went on for weeks! it was so bad i actually started to think i was pregnant.
the hormones usually are raised, so your body is reacting to it. the hormones also cause them to grow a little as well, so that could also be the reason ;)
mine were so sensitive i had to wear a sports bra, otherwise it would even hurt to go down the stairs or in the car.
wear tighter bra, but don't choke them. my doctor told me to take vitamin d, and to not have caffeine (chocolate, coffee, coke, etc). weird, but it worked.
with time, the pain will go away (mine did in a month).
good luck!

i would do a pregnancy test, just to be sure.
But it can be a side effect of the pill, speak to your doctor about it, he might advise you to change to a pill where you get less side effects

Most "pills" carry negative side-effects, and breast discomfort can be one of them.
