Which do you prefer?

Question

Do you prefer your soda pop in glass bottles (if you can still get them), cans, or plastic bottles? Why? How about beer? I prefer glass all the way but it is hard to get Diet Coke in glass in Michigan and it's only the little bottles.

Preferably glass. I don't think we can get them here in Asia. Plastic containers are okay, but unless you are going to consume them quickly, soda flattens out, and you have no fizz. I don't buy soda very often, but I almost always drink it out of a glass. Cans are dangerous to drink from, unless you have a straw. Cans are the most popular form of container in South Korea, when coming from a vending machine, and they are smaller (250 mml) than in the States.

i prefer glass for soda and beer...when i drink out of a can iget a tinney taste so i pour it in a cup or glass...plastic is much cheaper to make and most states now give a refund on plastic..i wish they did here in Illinois...but that also requires a deposit..and drinking beer outof a plastic bottle is ok budt i prefer a glass bottle

I prefer cans.
With glass or plastic bottles it never feels as right. With glass I'm always worried of dropping the bottle, or in the trash it will break and possibly break the bag or cut me.
The plastic is usually harder to hold(like with Gatorade) I hate those damn bottles.

It actually upsets my stomach if i dont delute Pop with Ice Cubes so I can only have it in a glass, but yes Glass bottles for beer all the way ;)

Every liquid tastes better when it's bottled in glass. Even milk! Unfortunately, almost everything these days is bottled in plastic, which leaches a slight plastic flavor into the liquid.

I prefer beer in a glass. Especially if the glass or mug has lots of frost on it.
I prefer soda pop in a glass too with ice.

Depends where I go. I usually like my soda in a can when I'm at home and with lots of ice in a glass when I'm out at a restaurant. I don't really have a reason why. I don't drink beer but I do like my drinks in a glass!

Glass was good in bottles Nehi Orange and Orange Crush in bottles and bottled Royal Crown Cola but the change in taste is due to that they have fiddled with the formulas over the years and it doesn't taste as good.

Grassy doesn't mind cans.

I would perfer glass bottles. I know it has more risk, but it's fun to drink out of. With beer, I guess i would do the same thing.

Glass is so much better, but like you, I have a hard time finding them. I noticed that milk is coming in glass bottles again. It tastes so much fresher and colder.
