Your husband's BP is high but not highly alarming. It is a red signal. You have not mentioned his age and I guess he is fairly young. His previous medical history alone is not sufficient to declare him healthy. What about his family history.Like his parents, siblings and also grand-parents medical history must be taken into consideration. He is definitely over-weight and I hope he is not smoker and alcohol consumer.Moderate life-style change, healthy food habits, regular exercise, controlling stress by meditation/yoga will certainly help.Try all these things first under the supervision of his physician before he put on medication. The statin drugs to control BP has long term negative side-effects like muscles cramping, reducing sexual performance and liver always at the risk. Please avoid medication as long as it is possible. If he is fond of junk food stop it right away. Good luck.

Your husband has a highish, but not alarming BP. Hpwever, whether it should be regarded as a problem depends upon his age and general health. If he is 20, it's dangerously high, but if he is 60, all he needs to do is get the lower figure down a bit. If you are concerned, your husband should consult his doctor.

Yes, his blood pressure is high, especially the bottom number, which is most important. Exercising for a few days will not get it. It has to be a life changing program. I recommend walking, and then walk some more. DO NOT let him eat things that are high in fat, like bacon, sausage, fried and fatty foods. Send him to the doctor as soon as possible.
