They got screwed because a maximum of 2 teams from each conference can make a BCS bowl. As Ohio State and Michigan get the BCS bowls, Wisconsin had to settle for the Capitol One bowl, which they won last year.

The Big Ten can only have 2 BCS Bowl games per rules. Ohio St. is in the championship and Michigan is the at large. That is the BCS rules. As to Michigan over Wisconsin they beat them in a head to head earlier this season so they are the higher ranked in that sense.

The BullCrapSeries does not allow more than two teams from any conference to enter BCS games. Consequently, OSU and Michigan are the limit, and Wisconsin, despite their higher ranking than most BCS teams, is left out. Given their stench - oops, strength - of schedule which is nearly equal to several BCS teams (Michigan, Arkansas, Tennessee, California), it's probably their low national profile that cost them, and not their play on the field.

Other teams will be left out by the "two team rule": Vagina Tech or Georgina Tech, both Texas and Texas sA&Me, LSU, Auburn, and Tennessee. Had Oregon State not lost to Boise State, they'd probably be left out as the third team instead of being unranked.

"Karli P" may be from Wisconsin, but she's not very well informed. The Capitulation One Bowl is not a BCS game, although it is probably the highest-paying non-BCS game.

Gotta disagree with you concerning the overranked team interior the rustic (on your opinion), in keeping with possibility the Gators might fall apart under the protective tension of the Badgers.......yet LSU's protection is between the main suitable interior the rustic. I even have seen the stats and Wisconsin does have a sturdy protective team. Geaux Tigers~

You have your answer, but I'm pleased to see that they will end up ahead of ND in the polls. They played UM a better game than ND did, there's consolation in that fact.
