I understand that you can use an e32, 750i's controll arm bushings, milled down to fit. John G. Burns's page says Dinon sell these pre-milled, but Dinon are US based. Does anyone know of a UK supplier, or a business who can do this? Ideally in the South East.

Control arm bushings and tie rod ends should be checked at every BMW INSPECTION II. BMW bushings usually will last well over 100K miles, but it depends on the kind of driver you are and the kind of driving you do. If you are doing city driving with lots of stop and go, plus various loadings, you should expect some looseness to occur. Loose or sloppy bushings amd toe rods will eventually lead to excessive tire wear. Steering wheel shimmy is almost always due to warped rotors. BMW rotors are critical to the kind of brake pads used. BMW rotors should never be "shaved or trued" as that action will aggivate the shimmy. After market brake pads are often too hard for the BMW discs and can add to brake squeeling, unpleasant steering feedback to the driver, and steering wheel chimmy.
