this is the type of ecological wood pannel im talking about..

i know the site is in italian, ive already read and understood a bit but it doesnt tell me what i need to know, i just need to know if it can be bent or curved like any regular wood could be done?

oh sorry the site doesnt take you directly to the image..if you want to see it, select "legno" on the left side then under select "pannello ecologico". thats the one im talking about.

I would recommend Bendy Plywood, having used it myself many times. Im providing a link to the manufacturer below. This plywood is very flexible, and you can do some really imaginitive building with it. If you need to build up a thickness, simply add more layers, using any good quality construction adhesive/wood glue. It can be finished in a variety of ways... from painting, texturing, to laminates.

Bending pressed wood panels can be done at the factory. I have not heard of any way to bend them in a home shop. With pressure, you can get a slight bend to them, but not any real serious kind of an arc. If you are talking about steam bending, unless they have used some kind of revolutionary glue, the steam will make the panel fall apart.

No, it can't. There are no long fibers in this, just a bunch of rigid glue joints between small chunks. It might deflect some, but it will not bend. Plywood would bend fairly well, and laminating wood works really well.

Hrm, i circulate to assert that it has to have some Graphite and an eraser blanketed... Then i'm in! I do opt to construct issues nevertheless, I used to layout our shool's set for the play in extreme college. -Nov
