How did you pass time before the web was accessible?

Mostly TV and reading (roughly 4 hours reading or 6 hours on TV and movies). Oops I didn't see sleeping on the list....Sleeping would probably win since I have been known to sleep for 12-26 hours straight (no trips to the bathroom or for snacks) if I get tired enough or have a bad migraine. I have to catch up for all the days where I only get 3 hours sleep before having to go to work. Midnight shift is rough on the sleep schedule.
I surf the web in spurts maybe twice a week. I can spend up to 7 hours on the computer on my day off. I used to read up to10 books a week when I was in high school (300 - 500 pg romance and mystery novels) Now I read about 3 novels a week.

On the internet, because I have too little to do at work and need to make time pass by somehow. Sleep comes as a close second. I was a kid in school before I had access to the internet. I spent my spare time doing homework, hanging out with friends, playing instruments, watching TV and such. Life was just fine without the internet, but the internet is pretty cool though and I love having that easy access to information.

After giving it careful thought, I would have to say that I spend more time reading with being on the web running a close second. I am relatively new to the net, so before I discovered it I spent most of my time reading, as I still do.

I spend more time on the web now.
but before I was introduced to the internet, I spent more time either sleeping or outdoors. TV followed second, then reading.

well it depends on the time .... if its near exmas .. then my time will be used up in studying ... nn sleeping ... otherwise .. i spend my time on t.v , INTERNET .. and outdoors ..!;)..
