Be sure to check the completed listings at ebay, there you can see what the end price was and if the doll actually sold. I sold a 1984 Cabbage Patch Kid MIB, with a not so perfect box at a yard sale this summer for $20.00. After checking the prices they were bringing on ebay at the time I figured it wasn't worth listing. They seem to be selling for a little more now though.

Yes it could be worth something, possibly on ebay.
Now would be a good time to put it on, christmas is coming, and people are looking for gifts, if the box is just a little damaged then make sure you explain the faults, and everything that comes with the doll.

you can go onto Amazon.com and they have a paperback book on there named Cabbage Patch Kids Collectibles: An Unauhtorized Handbook and Price Guide. I don't know how much they were selling the book. but you should check it out maybe you can find the cabbage patch kids that you got and see how much they are worth.

It kinda depends on how "rough" the box is....most times collectors only buy stuff if the box is perfect. Try EBay see if there are other dolls on there from that same time period and see what they are going for.

that's a good question. I would look on ebay and see if anyone is selling those and check to see what the going rate is.
