Okay, I don't really get the meaning of this poem. Really and there's no reference to his poems. 10 points people. Work it and I'll love you long time.

"SINCE I from Love escaped am so fat,
I ne'er think to be in his prison ta'en;
Since I am free, I count him not a bean.

"He may answer, and saye this and that;
I care not I speak right as I care not
Since I from Love escaped am so fat.

"Love hath my name struck out of his slate,
And he is struck out of my bookes clean,
For ever more; there is none other mean;
Since I from Love escaped am so fat."

The poem is considered not to be by Geoffery Chaucer. It simply states that because the author (probably female) is not loved by her love interest, she doen't carer what he thinks.
