i always wear the hook first. that way i can adjust after its hooked.

first hook is for when your bra is new. last hook for when it's older and will be needing a new one in a few washings.
i learned it on OPRAH. i often wondered the same thing.

The hook in the back, the front "between boobs hook" are a pain, is that what you meant?

both ways r easy...
if ur wearing 4 the 1st time, then get use 2 the "hook 1st" way... gradually ul get use 2 the other way..

whatever way works best for you. i'm pretty sure there is no general "best" way.
