The day of my procedure to remove my Fibroids, the doc did a preg test, which proved negative. My period was late and I had informed them. They still continued with the procedure, which was a Laproscopy, Hysteroscopy and a biopsy.
Prior to the op, I was given a pre-med to stop the anxiety, after which the op was taken place by General anaesthetic. The op took place for 3 hrs. During the recovering stage I was given 4 morphine injections and 1 piriton injection.
The day after my surgery, I did a Clearblue Pregnancy test, and surely I was positive. Since, than I did a few more tests, at home and at the hospital. I am pregnant!!!!
I also had a very nasty secondary infection at my wound sites....in the belly button and the gyno's took no notice of it.
In fact, I am so worried, what the effects of the op and the G.A, etc, would do to my unborn baby. I am 7 wks & 5 days.
Having taken advice from my gyno they were unclear about any effect. CAN ANYONE SHED ANY LIGHT ON THIS? Thanx u allx

How can your gyno be unclear of any effects of medication from surgery.. surely they would know considering they will tell you not to do drugs or drink or smoke during pregnancy.. They must have gone through this many times.. well maybe with the fetus being early in age n all they may not know..

and not very good with noticing infection either.. thats the worst as you have bacteria in your system causing this infection. which could harm the baby..

You could always have an amnio and test for anything... the procedure.. well im sure you know what it is.. needle through the stomache ( ew ) to test if your worried..

My advice.. find someone who will truly care for your needs.. i mean if your gyno couldnt see that you had an infection. she may not be telling you the truth about the medication either. which is not good for you or your baby. find someone who will tell you what you need to know and will provide the best care for you and your baby..

Don't worry - see another doctor and get a second opinion. I'm no medic so can't offer any sensible advice other than to keep the operation site as clean as possible (a few drops of tea-tree or lavender oil in the bath water might help, but check the usage of essential oils during pregnancy with a local healthshop first)

Call NHS Direct and see what they can advise - they're very good at reassuring or passing on to a relevant professional

0845 46 47 (very short number)

Might be worth considering a private appoiontment if you can raise the funds for it, or even a natural therapist of some kind - they can sometimes offer a solution when mainstream medicine falls short.

Anyway, congratulations and good luck!

If he keeps insisting which you're a guy then i think of which you're able to go away him. Hes no longer respecting you and hes being thoroughly ignorant. i understand its particularly no longer common to go away somebody you adore yet he isnt particularly loving you a similar way you adore him if he wont settle for you and if he doesnt understand who you're. he's bringing you down- a courting shouldnt be all conflict and all undesirable circumstances! You deserve plenty extra effective than that. some human beings merely cant understand the version between gender and intercourse- he doesnt understand that gender is in the techniques that's why he keeps insisting which you're his boyfriend. you have each and every impressive to experience harm whilst he does this and you shouldn't could positioned up with it! I mean, transitioning is a confusing factor to bypass by and so which you're able to attempt to encompass your self with people who love you and understand you- hes making issues even harder from the sounds of it! you're able to do plenty extra effective<3

Uterine fibroids are usually not dangerous, but can cause immense discomfort and lead to complications like anemia from heavy blood loss. In rare cases, they may cause complications that affect pregnancy.

In cases where there are no symptoms, treatment may not be necessary. However, proper diagnosis and treatment may be required if your symptoms are severe or causing complications. Along with conventional treatment, you can try some natural home remedies. Read here https://tr.im/90fxU

As terrible as this might sound, if all the meds were that harmful to your baby you would have had a miscarriage! As you haven't so far I would feel extremely blessed - obviously someone wants you to have this baby!

Any foetal abnormalities will show up on an ultrasound, but, again if it was terminal you would have had a miscarriage.

You should talk to the medical director of hospital/clinic and ask for some explanation.
This is medical negligence!!!

you should be fine, as long as you don't do or take anything else while you are pregnant i am sure you will be fine and if your OB didn't seem concerned than i don't think you should be.
congrats!
