Do you mean suing your ex employer, you are the ex employee
presumably ? You need to see a solicitor, put the facts to him/her, you will be directed to a solicitor who specialises in "wrongful dismissal" cases within that practice and he/she will tell you what chance you have of winning. If you lose it will cost you a great deal of money so be very certain of your facts. You should have been warned about whatever it was you were dismissed for before the final dismissal. The solicitor will advise if you have a good case. Good luck.

i wish you would have stated the the wrongful dismissal it would have helped. hire an attorney, apply for unemployment. if they are found guilty by an attorney you should be compensated for your time off for wrongful termination.i have heard of this if your employer wants to get rid of someone they will come up with an excuse.so make sure you have good cause and evidence to sue.

IF you're a member of a union you need to contact them and they will advise you on the appropriate action and they will also support you through the whole process.
I would also advise that you go to your local citizens advice bureau.
Don't get your hopes up for a big cash settlement. My mum sued her ex employer and got about £300.

Do you mean employer ?
If so My other half has just been through the same thing, we were advised not to bother because it would cost more than we'd get! even though he had a 80% chance of winning !

depend on why you were dismissed...but the only way you could even get a start on this would be to consult a lawyer, talk the case over with them, it may cost you 30 or 40 bucks for the consult....but thats the only way your gonna be able to get a case going

Not 'employee', it is your employer. File a case in Labour Court. Lodge a complaint with Labour Commissioner, in your place of erstwhile employment.
