Unfortunately, it's very normal. If by normal you mean common. In reply to an above comment, cynicysm doesn't always come from meeting not enough good people. There's always the wonder what motivates these so-called "good" people, which can all tie back to the selfishness.

You do not strike me as being intelligent enough to be a cynic to be honest....
An intelligent person would have worked out what this web site was for and not ask with every single answer about whether some rustbucket should be bought or not....
