He is the epitome of everything that is wrong with football (players) today. I'd think there'd even be some usually blinkered Chelsea fans who'd think the same.

He is your perfect example of one of today's football players who's playing for the $ first, the shirt second. I'm neither an Arsenal or a Chelsea fan, but that whole episode with Ashley Cole, the tapping-ups, criticism of Arsenal in his book, accusations between William Gallas and Chelsea, and all the other shennanigans associated with all of them was simply disgraceful.

Dislike yes, intensely no. That's because I like Chelsea in some ways. If he played for United, I'd hate his guts.

i am 100% chelsea..but i was disappointed with what cole did to arsenal after he left...if it wasnt for the gunners he wouldnt be where he is now...so that upset me because he showed no respect to the club that made him what he is now.....but when it comes to football he is one hell of a left back and we all know that is true.

I don't hate him. I don't like to say I hate anyone...I just don't really bother much for him. All I really care about is that he's a good defender. Other than that, I'm just going to let him make the decisions he wants to make...None of it is my problem, so I am just going to get on with my life and focus on what I need to be focusing on...
