well first you have to be honest but gentle at the same time.make sure ur main girl knows something about it so tht way she wont be last to know if rumors get started, u dont have to tell her everything but u do have to tell her something, dealing with girls theres always going to be lots n lots of drama. the main thing is you have to get your point across to the other girl without being too touchy.(meaning if she does cry keep a distance while still comforting her, or she might take it another way (things happen when feeling pitty for someone(wink wink) if not it could effect your OTHER relationship, most females are crazy when heart broken and we been know to do alot of CRAZY things(ex: if i cant have HIM no one can etc...) so becareful, do it in a public place so no matter what happens it wont get too out of control. look her stright in her eyes and let her know wht u want, dont look away or at the floor because she'll take it the wrong way and think tht she might still have a chance because thts why u cant look at her in the face,tell her you have to be adults about this and thts why your coming to her or you could have just ignored her. let her know you want to be faithful just like you would be if u were with her. you have to be bold on this part to get your point across. keep your voice at the same tone and pitch, something mellow. this is where being man starts. let her know your in control and you yourself have faith n believe in everything your sayin to her. keep eye contact not the aww im sorry look, but the cold heartless: look b**** i dont care bout you look(p.s dont talk bout the other girl too much or something might happen to her, keep tht part short) if she ask why u dont want her tell her the truth tht way she could try to work on it and find another guy and not make the same mistake. so no matter what you do u have to do it fast and soon, because the longer you wait the more she'll be attached and the harder it will be for you to get rid of her. so suck it up and just do it. let me know how it goes.

I don't believe it's possible to say something like that without hurting the person. You just have to be honest, and straight up about it...and hope that they get the message.

U can just tell them in a decent polite way..that's all u can do..it's going to hurt them anyways, but it might hurt less if u were friendly and understanding when u reject them!

In different countries, it is handled in different ways. In the US, you just say " I am going steady with another person. But I thank you for your invitation (or whatever) ! "
