I got punched in the face, right hand side, 5 days ago, and I've noticed today that when I apply pressure to the area between my cheekbone and nose (basically at the infraorbital foramen), I have an odd sensation in my face, down to the root of one of my upper teeth. I was thinking maybe it was some nerve swelling. I have no numbness and all my teeth have sensation just fine. Should I see a doctor or is this something that will fix itself?

Ok, so you are dumb enough to get punched in the face. I get it. Then you are smart enough to look up big words on here so that you can use them for your question. nice touch. Then you are dumb enough not to go to the doctor when you have an "odd sensation". What's the worst it could be, broken cheek bone, broken jaw? I'm sure it will all work out in the end. Nevermind the internal damage that you can't even see...

After I recovered from said punch, I would be so angry I'm sure I would look like a cartoon character with the steam shooting out of my ears. For reals, that happens when I get super mad. Ok, not really, but how cool would that be?! ~SP

Probably just due to the swelling, but see a doctor to be sure there are no fractures.
